NEC Rigging can offer clients a number of services ranging from the initial planning stage through to the construction, rig and de-rig of suspended structures.

All rigging requests will come through to the Technical Operations Customer Co-ordinators, where the request will be planned, priced and then passed onto the Rigging Co-ordinators who will oversee the operational delivery of the client's request.

As an in-house department Rigging Services can provide on-site operational support throughout the event with ongoing cover and response during tenancy.

Drawing on an extensive store of equipment and the vast industry experience within our rigging team, the department can provide the resources to enable lighting rigs, banners, and blackouts, ceiling treatments and draping to be hung in the roof of the halls prior to tenancy.

The department has to provide the primary fixings for every suspension, ensuring that the points comply with the weight restrictions in the area in which it is hung and advise the client accordingly.

DROP WIRE
Drop wires are used for suspending signage and banners.
MOTOR POINT
Used to suspend lifting hoists. This would be attached to the roof.
MANUAL CHAIN HOIST BLOCK
This is a manual lifting hoist. These are used to lift lighting rigs with a crank and chain.
CHAIN HOIST
This is a motorised lifting hoist. These are used to lift lighting rigs.
CORNER BLOCKS
This are corner blocks that can link up the lightweight modular system.
CORNER BLOCKS - ALL TRUSS DUTY TYPES
This are corner blocks that can link up the mid weight modular system.
LIGHT WEIGHT TRUSS
This modular system can be put together to form a light weight lighting rig.
MED WEIGHT GP
This modular system can be put together to form a medium weight lighting rig.
SWITCH HALL LIGHTING BULBS
The main NEC light can interfere at times with your stand. So we do have a service where we can turn off the sodium lights in the roof for you.
CATENEY WIRE
Tensioned 6mm thick wire rope, rigged at roof height for things like roof dressing.
ALUMINIUM BARREL
These barrels are rigged at required height. These can be used for hanging drapes and lights.
DRAPES HIRE AND DERIG
A linear price per meter for rigging drapes up to a 12 meter drop. Anything over a 12 meter drop would need to be prices upon application.
EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN
Illuminated exit sign inclusive of power. This would be used to highlight any emergency exits with in a hall. This is normally ordered via the organiser.
TELESCOPIC HOIST
Mobile elevated work platform. Used for basic rigging. Minimum 4 hour call out. The price includes a driver (not a rigger).
