When the Exhibition is over

Grow your own database. Each visitor to an exhibition is registered: - who they are, their position, company, market segment and special interest. This database is available for exhibitors to buy - remember a hot prospect may decide not to wait around until one of your stand staff has finished with another customer.

Pack up all your possessions
No sooner has the last visitor left than the breakdown crews will descend like locusts! Make sure you pack and remove everything you need to take away yourself before it gets too chaotic.

Remember to say 'thank you'
Being part of a stand team is exhausting but it can be enjoyable and exhilarating too. Once the curtain falls, the team disperses and the adrenalin rush subsides - people may feel a little flat. It helps if they receive a formal letter of appreciation for your efforts - plus maybe a small gift.

Hold a final de-briefing session
As soon as possible take a detached look at when you achieved against target, what the problems were, whether they were solved and what you can do to make the next event even more productive for your company. Above all, commit those conclusions to paper.
Reserve an even better stand space for the next exhibition. Make sure you have advance notice of the next event before the current one finishes. While the stand you would have preferred is still fresh in your mind, make a provisional reservation.
