Back-to-Back Tenancy
Two tenancies for different exhibitions - where one ends and the other starts at the same time.

Birmingham Convention & Visitor Bureau
Onsite (The NEC) information and booking service for hotels and private accommodation, theatre tickets, restaurants, clubs, coach transfers and other travel arrangements.

Black Box Environment
A room or hall where the walls and ceiling have been painted black and where there is no natural light source.

Box Office
A ticket selling agency located in the Piazza of The NEC which sells advanced tickets for all NEC events.

Breakdown
Organiser term used to describe the period between the end of the open exhibition and the end of the tenancy. The period when all stands are dismantled.

Build Up
The period prior to an exhibition during which the booths/stands are constructed.

Business Centre
Located in the Piazza and in the Atrium of The NEC, the Business Centres provide an international communication service for exhibitors.
